SEFTA CLUBS

ETL:
(East Tilbury and Linford Field Target Club)
Situated just a few minutes from the A13, we are a short drive from almost anywhere in South Essex, East London and even Kent.
In fact, some of our members travel from further afield.

Whether you are interested in competing in field target competitions or just looking for somewhere to do some quiet plinking in a safe and friendly environment this is the club for you.

Note: We only cater for low powered airguns that do not require a Fire Arms Certificate (i.e. guns under 12ft/lb. power)
and our license does not allow camouflage clothing.

Iceni Marksmen:
Formed in 1984 to promote the skills and discipline required for field target shooting.Members are always happy to assist with getting people off to a good start, with a safety officer on hand to help.

We encourage all ages and abilities, providing a safe place to shoot for all family members.

We meet every Sunday morning at the Radcliffe shooting ground, just outside Colchester. The ground consists of a large woodland area, which is a stunning carpet of Bluebells in the spring.

Our courses are set out to BFTA (British Field Target Association) guidelines and include sitting, standing and kneeling lanes. Targets are set between distances of 10 to 55 yards.

Springfield Our club is Springfield ARC part of SEFTA. Springfield is located off the A414 near Ongar in Essex 10 minutes from the M11. We cater for all, FT , HFT and general airgun shooting. We have a large covered plinking / zeroing range with targets set from 8 yards to 60 yards.

Club members age from 12 to 79 and we operate by committee which is voted in each year at the AGM. We hold a work-party on the first Saturday of every month where most pitch in to maintain the course and club grounds. Many of us take part in the SEFTA Winter League and compete against the other 3 clubs in the region.
HFT started in 2012 and due to the local support it has progressed on to a regular monthly competition held on the second Saturday of every month.
